Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: 31 Jan 2025

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the cancellation of website development services provided by Atul (atulcodex.com, hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) by customers worldwide (“you” or “your”). Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.

Cancellation by You

You have the right to cancel a project before its completion. However, as our services involve specialized skills and significant time investment, cancellations are subject to the following terms:

  • Notification: You must notify us of your intent to cancel in writing via email at me@atulcodex.com. The cancellation will be effective upon our written confirmation of receipt of your cancellation notice.
  • Partial Refund: Since we do not offer full refunds, if you cancel a project, you will be eligible for a partial refund based on the amount of work completed up to the point of cancellation. This amount will be determined by us based on the following factors:
    • The percentage of the project completed.
    • The time and resources already invested.
    • Any non-recoverable expenses incurred by us.
  • Refund Calculation: The partial refund will be calculated on a case-by-case basis and communicated to you in writing. It will not include any amounts paid for work already completed, as this represents services already rendered. The partial refund will be for any portion of the project that has been paid for but not yet completed.
  • No Refund for Completed Work: No refunds will be issued for any work that has been completed and delivered to you, even if you decide not to use it.

Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a project under the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment: Failure to make agreed-upon payments by the due dates.
  • Unreasonable Client Demands: Requests that are beyond the scope of the agreed-upon project or that are deemed unreasonable or unethical.
  • Unprofessional Conduct: Disrespectful or abusive communication or behavior.
  • Force Majeure: Events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or significant technical failures.

In the event of cancellation by us, we will provide you with a refund for any payments made for work not yet completed.

No Refunds for Digital Services

Please remember that we offer exclusively digital services. Once a portion of the work has been completed and delivered, it is considered consumed, and therefore, no full refunds are possible. The partial refund policy outlined above applies to any uncompleted and unpaid portion of the project.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any disputes regarding this Cancellation and Refund Policy, please contact us at me@atulcodex.com to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and amicably.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
